Join us for one of our Lunch and Learn.

Tenant improvement (TI) projects are more complex than ever—requiring alignment across design, budgeting, code compliance, and execution to deliver successful outcomes. This session takes a practical, end-to-end look at the TI process, helping property managers, owners, and project teams move seamlessly from initial concept to final buildout.

We’ll explore key considerations that impact every phase of a project, including evolving BOMA standards (2017 vs. 2024), building base documentation such as stacking plans and egress requirements, and the importance of maintaining accurate as-builts. Attendees will also gain insight into developing consistent building standards—from finishes and lighting to MEP systems—and how these influence long-term asset performance.

Additional topics include converting office to medical office use, speculative suite trends across the Denver metro area, and critical TI project phases—from space planning and pricing strategies to construction administration and permitting. We’ll also break down code and occupancy requirements, including egress, restroom counts, and fire/life safety considerations.

Finally, we’ll discuss how to align budgets, scope, and TI allowances while effectively communicating with tenants—positioning your team and your architect as advocates for both project success and the bottom line.

Walk away with practical strategies to streamline TI projects, reduce risk, and ensure alignment from blueprint to buildout.
